Role Overview
We are looking for a Manager, New Initiatives to work directly with the CEO on Karma's most important growth priorities. This is not a project management/ coordination role. This is an internal founder role.
You will identify opportunities, build execution plans, align stakeholders, solve roadblocks, and drive initiatives from idea to scale. You will operate across Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Program Teams. You will be expected to switch seamlessly between strategy, execution and designing a growth plan in the morning and negotiating with vendors in the afternoon.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Identification & Incubation
• Identify new growth opportunities.
• Evaluate market gaps, partnerships, products, and programs.
• Develop implementation roadmaps and success metrics.
New Program Launches
• Lead launch of new healthcare programs.
• Drive pilot design, implementation, and scale-up.
• Coordinate execution across multiple teams.
• Track outcomes and improve programs based on learnings.
Healthcare Service Expansion
• Expand pharmacy offerings and healthcare products.
• Lead procurement of medicines, supplements, equipment, and program materials.
• Build and manage supplier relationships.
• Develop and implement new community healthcare initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Public Health, Pharmacy, Economics, or related fields.
• MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
• 4–8 years of experience in startups, founder's office, business operations, strategy, incubation, new business development, or high-growth environments. (Healthcare experience is useful, not mandatory)
• Experience building and launching initiatives preferred.
