Senior Accounts Manager

Role Description The Senior Accounts Manager will oversee a team and run financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate ledgers, and preparing regular financial reports. This role will handle budgeting, and cash flow planning, while monitoring financial performance and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accounts Manager will collaborate with leadership on pricing, cost analysis, and profitability initiatives, and will coordinate with external auditors, banks, and vendors as needed.

The role also includes improving accounting processes, implementing controls, and guiding junior team members on best practices. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bangalore Urban.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
• Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets; ability to work with data and generate clear financial insights.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, taxation basics, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead accounts role; experience in retail, design, or consumer products is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) and use of ZOHO Books are a plus.
