Job Description
Role Purpose
The Marketing Head will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's marketing strategy to strengthen brand positioning, generate qualified business opportunities, and support revenue growth in the engineering goods and material handling equipment business. The role requires expertise in B2B industrial marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, channel marketing, and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing
- Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Build brand positioning in the engineering and material handling equipment market.
- Develop annual marketing plans, budgets, and campaign calendars.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and industry trends.
Product Marketing
- Develop product positioning and value propositions for the company's product portfolio.
- Launch new products and support product lifecycle management.
- Prepare product brochures, presentations, technical literature, videos, and case studies.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to develop effective marketing collateral.
Brand Management
- Drive corporate branding initiatives across online and offline platforms.
- Ensure consistency in brand identity and messaging.
- Enhance brand visibility across target industries.
Digital Marketing
- Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, LinkedIn campaigns, email marketing, and website management.
- Improve website traffic, lead generation, and digital engagement.
- Monitor digital campaign performance and optimize ROI.
Lead Generation
- Develop B2B lead generation strategies to support the sales team.
- Execute demand generation campaigns targeting industrial customers, OEMs, EPC contractors, warehouses, logistics companies, manufacturing plants, and distributors.
- Track marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and conversion metrics.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Identify emerging technologies and evolving customer needs.
- Conduct customer satisfaction and market perception studies.
Events & Exhibitions
- Plan and execute participation in industrial exhibitions, trade fairs, customer events, and technical seminars.
- Manage corporate events, dealer meets, and product launch programs.
- Build relationships with industry associations and trade bodies.
Sales Enablement
- Partner closely with the sales team to develop marketing campaigns that support business growth.
- Create sales presentations, technical brochures, proposals, and customer success stories.
- Equip the sales team with effective marketing tools and communication materials.
Channel Marketing
- Support dealers, distributors, and channel partners with marketing programs.
- Develop promotional campaigns to strengthen channel engagement and improve market penetration.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the marketing team.
- Define KPIs and monitor marketing performance.
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement within the marketing function.
Budget Management
- Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget.
- Optimize marketing investments to maximize ROI.
- Track campaign effectiveness and expenditure.
