Mechanical Design Engineer

Pay Range

Base salary range: $100.00/hr - $104.00/hr (based on experience and skills).

Location & Travel

Must live within a drivable distance of Minneapolis, MN for this hybrid position with travel, one-year contract.

Citizenship Requirement

Must be a US Citizen or valid Green Card holder. No exceptions.

Job Focus

This role will focus on mechanical and electrical engineering for natural gas/thermal generation projects. Client is also open to electrical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for power plant design, construction support and engineering oversight.
• Assist with RFIs and change orders.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in power plant design and construction (owner/operator or EPC firm).
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• Familiar with construction environments.
• PE preferred but not required.
• Instrumentation and controls experience for the electrical role would be nice to have.
