Founded by Dr. Diu Somani, our clinic operates on a trusted referral network, partnering with general veterinarians across the city to provide advanced, secondary care for their challenging dermatology cases.
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Medical Representative (MR) to act as the face of The Skin Vet in the field. Your primary objective will be to expand and strengthen our B2B referral network. You will travel across Mumbai to visit veterinary clinics, build strong professional relationships with general practitioners, and distribute our educational and promotional materials (flyers, brochures, and symposium details) to encourage them to refer their specialized dermatology cases to us.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Operations & Vet Visits: Conduct daily field visits to general veterinary clinics, pet hospitals, and private practices across assigned territories in Mumbai.
- Relationship Building: Introduce The Skin Vet’s specialized services to practicing veterinarians, explaining how partnering with us adds value to their practice and their clients.
- Material Distribution: Ensure our clinic flyers, referral brochures, and educational materials are effectively distributed and prominently displayed at partner clinics.
- Promote Referral Channels: Clearly communicate our process and address any questions vets may have regarding case handovers, ensuring they feel confident sending patients to our Worli clinic.
- Database Management: Maintain an accurate, updated log of all clinics visited, contact details of the veterinarians, and feedback or interest levels using our daily reporting formats.
- Event Promotion: Assist in generating awareness and driving registrations among the vet community for upcoming clinic initiatives, such as the annual Skin Vet Symposium.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field. (A background or interest in animal health/veterinary sciences is a plus).
Experience: 3-4 years of experience as a Medical Representative, Field Sales Executive, or Territory Manager. Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or pet-care industry is preferred.
Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Hindi. Ability to speak in Marathi is a plus. Ability to build a quick rapport with busy veterinary professionals.
Attributes: Highly organized, target-driven, and capable of working independently in the field with minimal supervision.
