HMP Whatton is a male adult prison with a capacity of 855. The role will be approximately 80% managerial and 20% clinical.
Responsibilities 80% managerial responsibilities, including managing rotas, annual leave, and team leadership. 20% clinical responsibilities delivering mental health care within the prison. Qualifications Experience leading a team, ideally 4 nurses and 1 mental health practitioner. Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Previous prison healthcare experience preferred. Proven managerial experience within mental health services. Benefits Onsite parking.
Training and development opportunities. Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.30pm. Annual salary £51,643 – £58,012 per annum, dependent on experience.
