Motion Graphics Designer

Overview The Gallagher Center of Excellence (GCOE) is seeking a talented and technically proficient Senior Video Editor / Motion Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Business Enablement team. In this key role, you will play a pivotal part in crafting captivating motion graphics and video content that support our organization’s goals. You’ll collaborate closely with senior designers and lead your own projects from concept to completion, ensuring creative excellence while managing your workload effectively.

You will also oversee the timely and efficient delivery of content, helping to streamline the transition of shared services functions to internal stakeholders, while providing innovative creative solutions. Your expertise in video production, camera work, and motion graphics will be critical in producing high-quality, engaging video content that resonates with our audience and strengthens our brand identity. How you'll make an impact Responsibilities Designing and producing high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative visual solutions for a variety of business needs, with a focus on storytelling through both motion graphics and live-action video. Project Management: Drive projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

Providing videography expertise, with hands-on experience in camera operation, lens choices, framing, and shot composition. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of a larger team on media-focused areas of projects. Mentoring junior designers, offering creative guidance and constructive feedback to ensure a high standard of work across the team.

Meet Deadlines: Overseeing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring all content meets brand standards, deadlines, and technical specifications. Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with production and leads regarding schedules and deadlines. Workload Management: Take responsibility for your own workload, time management, and feedback actions required by supervisors.

Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends and work to client brand guidelines. Mentorship: Mentor junior designers and provide guidance to improve their skills. Leadership: Provides guidance and support to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their potential.

Creative Vision: Demonstrates a strong sense of creative direction, ensuring that projects are visually compelling and aligned with client objectives. Project Management: Oversees all aspects of project execution, ensuring that timelines are met and deliverables are of high quality. Technical Expertise: Utilizes advanced technical skills in After Effects, Premiere, and Cinema 4D to create complex animations and video content.

Client Interaction: Confidently engages with clients, providing recommendations and guiding them through the creative process. Collaboration: Works effectively with designers, copywriters, project managers, and business stakeholders to achieve project goals. Quality Assurance: Maintains a high standard of design, ensuring that all deliverables meet client expectations and brand guidelines.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously seeks ways to improve design processes and stay updated with industry trends and best practices. About you Qualifications : Experience ( Career Level Guide) 7+ years of experience in motion design and video editing. A portfolio showcasing creative work.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY: Proficiency in industry-standard video editing and motion graphics software, including: Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe After Effects Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Adobe Audition Media Encoder Advanced knowledge of Cinema 4D is a bonus. Strong eye for composition, color, typography, movement, and depth. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Leadership and mentorship skills.
