About the Role:

We are a UAE-based fertilizer trading company establishing an NPK bulk blending plant in Birgunj, Nepal. This is a ground-floor opportunity you will be involved from day one in plant setup, operations, and market development. What you will own:

• Plant side machine selection input and vendor evaluation, plant layout, commissioning, daily operations, quality control, blending ratios, raw material inventory management.
• Market side building agrovet relationships across Bara, Parsa, Chitwan, Rautahat districts, farmer demonstration coordination, pricing intelligence, competitor tracking.
• Regulatory side Nepal fertilizer registration, quality certification, MoALD liaison, local compliance.

What this job is:

You will run our blending plant end to end. That means selecting the machine, commissioning it, running production, managing quality, and supporting our sales team with technical knowledge. This is not a desk job. You will be on the plant floor every day.

What you will own:

• NPK bulk blending operations end to end
• Machine selection and commissioning — evaluate supplier quotes, review technical drawings, oversee installation and first production run.
• Daily production — manage blending operations for NPK grades including 15-15-15, 10-26-26 and custom grades. Ensure every batch meets nutrient specification.
• Raw material management — know your Urea, DAP and MOP inside out. Understand particle size, bulk density, moisture sensitivity and how sourcing changes affect your recipe. Recalculate batch recipes when raw material grades change.
• Quality control — batch sampling, lab testing, sieve analysis, moisture checks. No off-spec bag leaves this plant.
• Maintenance — preventive maintenance schedules for mixer, conveyors, bagging line, loadcells and weighing systems. Fix problems before they stop production.
• Team management — hire, train and manage plant operators, warehouse staff and QC technician.
• PLC batching systems and loadcell calibration and troubleshooting.
• Mixers, bucket elevators, conveyors, and bagging lines.

What we need from you non negotiable:

• Minimum 10 years in the fertilizer industry— specifically in NPK blending or agri-input production.
• You have worked in a bulk blending or dry-mix NPK fertilizer plant. Not granulation. Not compound manufacturing. Bulk blending specifically.
• You have commissioned or set up a blending plant before — or been heavily involved in one.
• You understand segregation, particle size matching, anticaking.
• You can recalculate a blend recipe from scratch when a raw material grade changes.
• You are comfortable relocating to Birgunj, Nepal permanently.
• You speak Hindi fluently. Nepali is a bonus.
• B.Sc or B.Tech in Agriculture, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands on experience in a bulk blending or NPK manufacturing plant not just trading
• Direct agrovet or dealer relationship experience in India or Nepal
• Understands granular blending particle size matching, segregation control, anticaking agents
• M.Sc in Agronomy, Soil Science, or Agricultural Chemistry strongly preferred candidates with Masters level understanding of plant nutrition and soil fertility will be prioritized

This role needs a self starter who can operate lean, move fast, and figure things out on the ground. If you have never stood on a plant floor and fixed something with your hands you are not the right person for this role.
