Job Description
are seeking a talented individual to join our Marine team at Marsh Risk India, a Marsh business. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Sr. Manager – Marine
We will count on you to:
- To manage the marine practice- Especially the below products:
- H&M (Hull and Machinery)
- P&I (Protection and Indemnity)
- AWRP (Additional War Risk)
- Charterers Liability
- Marine Open Cover
- Ports and terminals
- Shipyards etc
- Focus on servicing existing clients and develop new clients.
- Interacting with all relevant risk insurance markets and sourcing the best placement solutions for our clients on direct/RI markets.
- Placing 100% of the risk according to the deadlines
- To ensure all the documentations are complete.
- To ensure all policy documents are in order and are reaching the clients within agreed time.
- Renewal tracking and ensuring timely reminders are sent to the clients for premium payment to ensure insurance continuity.
- Working with Operations teams to get all the bookings done in the system/generate debit notes, etc
- Providing continuous assistance to our clients with regard to any query related to claims.
- Follow up with Surveyor and Insurer with smooth claim settlement.
- Conduct workshops for clients on policy coverages along with insurer.
What you need to have:
Educational Background
- MBA from a reputed B - School.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in insurance industry or Equivalent experience working with Global capability centers of Insurer’s/ Brokers or experience in working within Marine sector
- Prior Experience in marine preferred.
- Corporate Relationship Management / Business Solution Provider from a service background.
- Ability to manage diverse client cultures i.e. Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation and PSU clients.
- Proven Leadership skill traits (elected leader in community, school & college). Background of having leadership role.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good Networking skills and Relationship Management skills.
- Strong Communication / Presentation skills.
Technical Skills
- MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
