About the job
Our Performance team are experts in generating tools, models and simulations to predict the behavior of a photovoltaic project, which allows them to technically advise our clients and accompany them in their decision making.
We are currently looking for a Performance Engineer to join our Consulting team in Mexico or Colombia with a focus on supporting the US offices.
Responsibilities
- Carry out solar resource studies, as well as calculations linked to weather, shadows, etc. that affect the specific project in which you are immersed.
- Carry out production estimates for solar energy projects, working with industry-leading software tools.
- Create typical meteorological years. Work with the different specialized and available databases. Analyse and clean meteorological data.
- Independently review third‑party models. Perform data analysis of plants in operation. Compare models with operational data.
Qualifications
- Major in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (degree). A master’s degree in renewable energy or a related field will be an advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience in the photovoltaic sector or relevant experience in another field will be valued.
- High technical knowledge of PV technology.
- High level of Excel proficiency.
