Pipe Welder Commercial & Industrial Projects

Pay: $28.00–$33.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Kodiak Labor Solutions is actively seeking experienced Pipe Welders for commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects. We are looking for skilled professionals who can successfully pass a 2" Schedule 80 6G weld test and have experience welding carbon steel and/or stainless steel pipe.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, Stick, MIG, and Arc welding on carbon steel and stainless steel piping.
• Complete high-quality 2" Schedule 80 6G welds that meet project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding specifications.
• Fit, weld, and install mechanical and process piping systems.
• Cut, bevel, prep, and assemble pipe using the proper tools and equipment.
• Pressure test piping systems and make repairs as needed.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow all OSHA and company safety standards.
• Work closely with pipefitters, supervisors, and project teams to complete projects safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial pipe welding experience.
• Must be able to pass a 2" Schedule 80 6G weld test.
• Experience welding carbon steel; stainless steel experience is a plus.
• Proficient with TIG, Stick, MIG, and Arc welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings.
• OSHA 10 preferred.
• Ability to work from ladders and lifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
