Plant Human Resources Manager

We are looking for an experienced Plant HR Manager to lead and manage all Human Resources functions at the plant level for a chemical manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to plant HR operations, IR, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and manpower planning within a manufacturing setup.

Experience Required: 15- 18 YearsIndustry Preference: Chemical / Manufacturing / Process IndustryLocation: Mettur , Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end Plant HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, induction, and employee lifecycle management

Drive employee engagement initiatives, welfare activities, and retention programs

Support performance management, training, and development initiatives for plant employees

Coordinate disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and conflict resolution

Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with business and production goals

Manage audits related to labor compliance, safety, and HR processes

Lead succession planning and manpower budgeting for plant operations

Key Skills Required:

Experience in chemical, manufacturing, or heavy engineering industries preferredStrong stakeholder management and problem-solving skillsLeadership ability with hands-on plant HR experienceGood communication and interpersonal skills

Educational Qualification:

MBA / MSW / PGDM in Human Resources / Personnel ManagementAdditional qualification in Labor Law will be an added advantage

Preferred Profile:Candidate should have worked in a plant-based environment with strong exposure to employee relations, compliance, and strategic HR support for plant operations.
