Are you an experienced fund accounting professional with exposure to Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate or other closed-ended fund structures?

A leading global financial services organisation is continuing to expand its Private Markets operations in Dublin and is seeking Supervisors to join a growing team supporting a range of alternative investment fund structures.

This opportunity may suit candidates already working in private equity or alternative fund accounting, as well as those coming from Big 4 or Top 10 audit firms who have developed strong technical exposure to private markets and are now considering a move into industry.

You will gain exposure to sophisticated investment structures, high-profile global institutional clients and a highly collaborative team environment.

What you will be doing

You will play a key role in the delivery and oversight of accounting and financial reporting for private market funds, working closely with internal teams, clients and external auditors.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Review and oversight of NAV calculations for closed-ended fund structures
• Oversight of capital call and distribution processing
• Review of waterfall calculations and carried interest allocations
• Preparation and review of financial statements for private equity and related fund structures
• Liaising with external auditors and client stakeholders during reporting cycles
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Taking responsibility for team performance, delivery standards and deadlines
• Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiencies

Who this role is ideal for

We are interested in speaking with professionals who have gained exposure to private markets through either fund accounting or audit.

Typical profiles may include:

• Fund Accounting Supervisors or experienced Senior Fund Accountants working with private equity, real estate, infrastructure or other alternative funds
• Professionals already working in private markets fund administration who are ready to step into a Supervisor-level role
• Experienced Managers or Senior Managers within Big 4 or Top 10 firms with strong exposure to closed-ended fund audit
• Fund Accounting Managers, AVPs or VPs with experience across private markets or alternative funds
• Candidates who have audited private equity, infrastructure, real estate or other closed-ended fund structures

Relevant experience may include exposure to:

• NAV review for closed-ended fund structures
• Capital calls and investor allocations
• Distribution calculations
• Waterfall or carried interest models
• Investment valuations
• Financial statements for private market vehicles
• Client, auditor or investor reporting deliverables

Qualified accountants, or candidates close to qualification, are typically well suited to these roles, although strong hands‑on private markets fund accounting experience will also be highly relevant.
