Procurement Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Procurement OperationsSource and purchase materials, spare parts, tools, and services required for production.Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure timely deliveries. 2. Supplier ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to ensure best value.Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and negotiate terms.Handle supplier evaluations and performance reviews.Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or invoicing. 3.

Cost Management & NegotiationNegotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.Analyse market trends and raw material costs to make informed purchasing decisions.Work to reduce procurement costs without compromising on quality. 4. Documentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor contracts.Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.Assist with internal and external audits related to procurement.5. Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with production planning, quality control, and finance teams.Provide timely updates on material availability to the production team.Support in managing procurement aspects of new product development (NPD) or project launches.6.

ReportingPrepare procurement reports for management (e.g., cost analysis, savings report, PO status).Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like on-time delivery, purchase cost variance, etc. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Good understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Analytical thinking and cost awareness.
