Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – IoT to lead the development of connected consumer durable products (e.g., smart ACs, refrigerators) with a strong focus on device connectivity, data flows, and user experience across hardware, firmware, and cloud ecosystems. This role requires hands-on ownership of product journeys, ensuring seamless integration between physical devices and digital platforms.

Core Responsibilities

Product Discovery & Strategy (IoT Focus)

• Own the product vision and roadmap for connected consumer durable products (e.g., smart ACs, refrigerators)
• Identify customer needs, use cases, and IoT-driven value propositions (remote control, automation, energy insights, etc.)
• Build detailed PRDs, user stories, and feature specifications covering device, app, and backend requirements
• Drive alignment with leadership on product strategy, roadmap priorities, and GTM approach

IoT Product Development & Architecture

• Work closely with hardware, firmware, and cloud teams to define and deliver integrated IoT solutions
• Define device architecture, including connectivity (Wi-Fi/BLE), data flows, and app-cloud interactions
• Drive NPI (New Product Introduction) from concept to production, including prototyping and validation
• Oversee firmware requirements, OTA update capabilities, and device performance benchmarks

Cross-functional Execution & Delivery

• Collaborate with engineering, UX, QA, supply chain, and manufacturing teams for end-to-end execution
• Facilitate design reviews, prototyping cycles, testing, and certification processes
• Ensure product quality, reliability testing, and readiness for mass production
• Manage timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time and high-quality product launches

Go-to-Market & Post-Launch Optimization

• Partner with business and marketing teams on GTM strategy, product positioning, and launch planning
• Support sales enablement (demos, documentation, training materials)
• Monitor post-launch performance using user feedback, telemetry, and analytics
• Drive continuous product improvements and feature enhancements
• Ensure alignment with customer expectations, PMF, and long-term product scalability

Key Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of Product Management experience with hands-on ownership of IoT / connected device products (not pure software/SaaS)
• Proven experience working across end-to-end IoT architecture covering device (hardware) + firmware + mobile app + cloud/backend systems
• Hands-on exposure to NPI (New Product Introduction), including prototyping, validation, testing, and transition to mass production
