Product Manager – Data Platform
Location: Cork, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)
Industry: Financial Technology (FinTech)
Experience: 2–4 years' Product Management experience
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an early-career Product Manager to join a growing product team developing the data platform that underpins next-generation financial analytics solutions.
This role focuses on delivering data platform capabilities, Business Intelligence (BI) products and emerging AI functionality. Working closely with engineering and data teams, you'll help define product requirements, prioritise workstreams and deliver features that enable scalable, data-driven products.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working in collaborative Agile teams and building platform products that support wider business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver product requirements for data platform features and services.
- Work closely with engineering teams to prioritise and manage product backlogs.
- Support the development of modern Business Intelligence and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Participate in product discovery, customer feedback sessions and stakeholder workshops.
- Translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Monitor roadmap dependencies and communicate progress, risks and priorities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of platform performance, reliability and user experience.
About You
You will have:
- 2–4 years' experience in Product Management within B2B SaaS, enterprise software or data-focused environments.
- Experience delivering software products from discovery through to release.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical curiosity and confidence working alongside engineering teams.
- Experience writing user stories, defining requirements and working in Agile environments.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems into achievable deliverables.
Desirable
- Knowledge of modern data platforms, data warehousing, ETL/ELT or BI tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or data-driven products.
- Experience working with SQL, APIs or data integration concepts.
- Familiarity with Jobs-to-be-Done or other product discovery frameworks.
- Experience within financial services or regulated industries.
