About the Role:
We are looking for a Product Owner to lead the prioritization and delivery of features for Workforce Management (WFM) products and platforms, with a primary focus on UKG (Kronos). The ideal candidate will combine product ownership experience with deep knowledge of workforce management processes including employee scheduling, timekeeping, and advanced forecasting working closely with engineering, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, high-quality WFM solutions that drive measurable operational outcomes. This is an AI-enabled role: the expectation and ability to leverage AI tools and capabilities daily is central to success and a key differentiator for candidates.
This role involves defining, refining, and prioritizing user stories while maintaining the functional integrity of WFM features for one or two Agile teams. Success is measured by the quality and readiness of user stories, sprint velocity, and effective coordination of dependencies. The work directly impacts the delivery of product features and the overall productivity of Agile teams within the organization.

What You will Do:
Validate complete user stories to ensure they meet acceptance criteria, quality expectations, and readiness for deployment. Align with peer Product Owners during planning increments and sprint planning to manage dependencies and ensure smooth delivery of Workforce Management features, including scheduling, timekeeping, and advanced forecasting capabilities within UKG.
- Ensure the Agile team has clear documentation of WFM system interfaces, scheduling rules, timekeeping configurations, and support processes; actively leverage AI tools to accelerate documentation, backlog refinement, and stakeholder communications.
What You will Bring:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, or related field, plus 3+ years of related work experience; or advanced degree with 1 year; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience with UKG (Kronos) Workforce Management platform, including hands-on configuration or product ownership of scheduling, timekeeping, and/or advanced forecasting modules.
- Deep understanding of workforce management processes, including labor scheduling rules, time and attendance policies, and demand-driven forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address and resolve technical and strategic challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong customer service management skills, including the ability to use personal initiative and be a self-starter.
- Proficiency in productivity applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio; demonstrated ability and eagerness to adopt AI-powered tools (e.g., generative AI assistants, AI-driven backlog and forecasting tools) as a core part of daily work AI fluency is an expectation of this role, not optional.
Must Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with employee scheduling within UKG (Kronos) is required; experience with timekeeping configuration and advanced workforce forecasting within UKG is strongly preferred.
Nice To Have:
- Certifications: Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO) preferred; UKG product certifications or training credentials a plus.
