Position Overview
Objectives of the Role
Lead U.S. healthcare products by defining the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with payer, provider, and member needs.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into strategic product initiatives.Partner with business teams and product managers to own and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value and ROI.Stay current on healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and agile best practices to continuously evolve product strategy.Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering: Engage with product managers, customers, and client implementation teams to capture and refine business needs.Product Customization: Tailor healthcare product capabilities to meet client specifications while ensuring scalability and compliance.Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to HIPAA guidelines and other healthcare regulations during product design and implementation.Provider Network Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of provider networks to recommend best practices for onboarding new facilities/providers and optimizing network adequacy.Member Engagement: Design and implement initiatives that enhance member interaction and satisfaction with healthcare products.Agile Leadership: Actively lead agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Grooming, Refinement, Daily Scrum, Retrospectives) in partnership with the Scrum Master and team.Backlog Health: Ensure a well‑defined backlog with clear acceptance criteria and prioritization aligned to product strategy.Feature Definition: Develop detailed product specifications and communicate them effectively to development and QA teams.Value Delivery: Assess business value, create cases, and prioritize epics, stories, and themes to maximize impact.Release Management: Drive product release planning, set delivery expectations, and ensure timely rollout of new functionalities.Product Mindset: Serve as a product ambassador internally and externally, sharing domain expertise and addressing stakeholder questions.Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare domain, including members, providers, networks, claims, payments, EDI transactions, and HIPAA compliance.Proven ability to manage dynamic healthcare products that evolve through continuous refinements and member feedback.In‑depth expertise in product management and agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).8+ years of experience in product development or ownership.Experience in collaborating with diverse technical development and QA teams.Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.Skilled at balancing and managing conflicting stakeholder priorities.Hands‑on experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Rally, and AI‑driven product management solutions.Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in healthcare, technology, or related discipline.Proficiency with modern product management tools and technologies.SAFe POPM certification (or equivalent).U.S. healthcare certifications in provider networks, claims, or compliance.Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
