Project Manager

Purpose of the Role

To strategically coordinate multiple corporate projects across Essar Ports, ensuring timely execution, accurate documentation, and effective stakeholder communication. The role supports expansion, modernization, and CAPEX projects by aligning site activities, consultants, contractors, and corporate functions.

Key Accountabilities

• Project scheduling, monitoring, and documentation.
• Progress tracking and preparation of dashboards/MIS reports.
• Coordination with project sites, consultants, and EPC contractors.
• CAPEX and budget tracking, risk register maintenance, and action tracker management.
• Preparation of delay analysis and change management documentation.
• Procurement and engineering coordination, including design reviews and drawing approvals.
• Compliance tracking, audit support, and project closeout documentation.
• Vendor coordination, technical correspondence, and stakeholder communication.
• Track project progress and update dashboards.
• Follow up with contractors and consultants on deliverables.
• Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams.
• Statutory approvals related to the projects.
• Preparation of project documents, feasibility report, concept plan, DPR, etc.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical)

Experience

• 10-15 years of experience in infrastructure /EPC/Ports
