About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Power Systems to lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of EHV Substation and Switchyard projects (220kV & 400kV). The role is based at the Head Office and focuses on project planning, scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and project lifecycle management from initiation to closure. Candidates with strong project management expertise are preferred over construction execution/site-based profiles.
Key Responsibilitie
sProject Planning & Schedulin
- gDevelop comprehensive project execution plans for Power Systems projects
- .Prepare and manage project schedules (L1, L2, L3 & L4) using project planning tools
- .Define project scope, milestones, resource allocation, and timelines
- .Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of deliverables
.Project Managemen
- tManage complete project lifecycle from project initiation to successful closure
- .Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, quality, and project execution teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- .Track project performance against schedule, budget, and quality objectives
- .Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution of project issues
.Budgeting & Cost Contro
- lPrepare project budgets and monitor project costs
- .Ensure optimal utilization of resources and control project expenditures
- .Support commercial reviews, project forecasting, and financial reporting
.Stakeholder Managemen
- tAct as the primary interface between internal teams, clients, consultants, and vendors
- .Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates to management
- .Manage client expectations and ensure contractual obligations are met
.Quality & Complianc
- eEnsure projects comply with company standards, client specifications, and applicable industry codes
- .Monitor documentation, approvals, and project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
- .Support quality audits and implement corrective actions where required
.Documentation & Reportin
- gMaintain project documentation including schedules, progress reports, risk registers, budgets, MOMs, and project closure reports
- .Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management review
- .Ensure proper project documentation and record management
