Project Manager – Security Systems and FM Operations – 12 Month Contract

About the Company

We are currently working with a leading utilities company that is investing heavily in its facilities and infrastructure portfolio across Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager to support the successful delivery of workplace fit-outs, facilities upgrades and electronic security projects.

Working alongside experienced project managers and multidisciplinary teams, you'll play an important role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within specification and to the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in project coordination, facilities management, construction or engineering who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and seeing projects through from design to handover.

About the Position

As Project Manager, you will support the delivery of a wide range of security systems projects across multiple sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the delivery of electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and physical security installations.
• Supporting mechanical, electrical and building fit-out projects from design through to completion.
• Working closely with the management team, consultants, contractors and operational teams throughout project delivery.
• Attending site meetings and monitoring project progress, quality and programme milestones.
• Coordinating commissioning, testing and project handovers.
• Managing project documentation including asset registers, commissioning records, O&M manuals and meeting minutes.
• Providing regular progress updates while identifying and helping resolve project risks and issues.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.

Experience / Requirements

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Experience in design of security system programmes.
• Experience in the delivery and quality of intruder alarm systems, CCTV, access control, fencing, security-rated doors, and window grille installations.
• Experience coordinating construction, engineering, facilities or technical installation projects.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams and other project management tools.

Remuneration Package

They offer a competitive salary package with expense. This is a 12 month contract with a view to extension.
