Job Description
This role is responsible for ensuring that all production and vendor-related processes run efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and meet the company’s quality standards for custom interior projects. Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & ControlDevelop and manage production schedules based on project timelinesPrioritize production activities according to project deadlinesCoordinate closely with internal workshops and external vendorsTrack production progress (daily/weekly) and ensure timely deliveryIdentify risks of delays and implement preventive solutions2.
Vendor ManagementConduct vendor performance evaluations (cost, quality, lead time, reliability)Negotiate pricing, lead times, and production capacityBuild and maintain long-term relationships with key vendorsMaintain and update vendor database and performance recordsEnsure vendors comply with company quality standards and specifications3. Quality ControlEstablish and implement quality standards for all custom productsPerform quality inspections (pre-production, in-progress, and final stages)Develop QC checklistsHandle quality issues and complaints from project sitesCoordinate rework or corrections with vendorsEnsure final outputs align with design drawings and specifications RequirementsMust HaveMinimum 3–5 years of experience in: Interior design / custom furniture / interior contracting, Production planning, vendor management, or quality controlStrong understanding of: Interior materials, Custom furniture production processesAbility to read and interpret technical/shop drawingsStrong skills in: Planning & organization, Negotiation, Problem-solving
