Role Summary:We are looking for a hands-on Medicinal Chemistry Research Scientist to actively contribute to small molecule drug discovery programs through bench-level synthesis, purification, and characterization of compounds. This role requires strong laboratory skills, scientific rigor, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:• Design and execute multi-step organic synthesis of small molecules.• Drive molecule design through SAR insights by integrating biology, ADME, DMPK, and computational approaches to accelerate hit-to-lead and lead optimization.• Perform purification techniques such as chromatography (Flash Chromatography and Preparative HPLC).• Conduct compound characterization using NMR, LC-MS, and other analytical techniques.• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and proper documentation of experiments.• Troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes.• Collaborate with biology, DMPK, analytical, and cross-functional teams to support project goals.• Ensure adherence to laboratory safety, compliance, and quality standards.• Handle and mentor a team of 4-6 employees.
