Role Overview
Our team is quickly Scaling and we’re on the hunt for a SALES MANAGER from INDIA
to spearhead, and scale our Business Development Team. This role is responsible for driving self-generated leads pipeline, improving client conversion rates, and building a high-performance sales engine for Scalex. You will own the top-of-funnel strategy ensuring consistent lead generation, high-quality appointments, and seamless handoff to Business Development Managers (Sales Closers), while coaching and developing a team of sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
I. Team Leadership & Performance Management
· Lead, coach, and manage a remote team of Business Development Managers and Appointment Setters (PH Based team)
· Set clear KPIs (calls, connects, booked meetings, show rates, qualified opportunities)
· Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and performance audits
· Build a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement
II. Pipeline Generation & Optimization
· Own sales strategy across cold calling, email, , and other channels
· Ensure consistent pipeline flow to meet company revenue targets
· Optimize scripts, messaging, and outreach sequences for higher sales conversion
· Monitor and improve key metrics: contact rate, booking rate, show rate, and qualification rate
III. Systems & Process Management
· Implement and refine CRM workflows (e.g., Zoho, GoHighLevel, etc.)
· Ensure accurate tracking of all sales activities and pipeline metrics
· Standardize SOPs for outreach, follow-ups, and appointment setting
· Direct lead quality and leads targeting strategies
IV. Training & Development
· Onboard new hires and ramp them to productivity quickly
· Continuously train team on objection handling, communication, and sales techniques
· Run roleplays and skill-building sessions regularly
V. Cross-functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Business Development Managers (Sales Closers) to improve appointment quality and conversion
· Direct and lead ICPs refinement and leads messaging strategy
· Provide feedback loops to improve campaigns and lead generation efforts
Job Qualifications
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a SALES leadership role
· SAAS Sales, IT/Tech Sales, BPO Industry experience is a MUST.
· Experience in high-ticket sales or B2B services
· Strong understanding of cold outreach (calls, email, )
· Proven track record managing appointment-setting or Business development teams is a PLUS.
· Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
· Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership abilities
Preferred Experience
· Background in scaling remote sales teams is an advantage
· Familiarity with performance-based sales environments
· Experience with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Zoho and GoHighLevel)
· AI Sales driven strategies and/or experience is highly preferred
