Sales Purchase Specialist

The Purchase Manager - Strategic Sourcing will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials, components, and services required for manufacturing operations. The role focuses on cost optimization, supplier development, risk mitigation, and supply chain efficiency while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing & ProcurementDevelop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and procurement goals.Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for direct and indirect materials.Conduct RFQs, RFPs, supplier benchmarking, and commercial evaluations.Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, negotiation, and supplier consolidation.Establish long-term sourcing plans for critical commodities and components.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Procurement preferred.Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are advantageous.Required Experience8-15 years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineering, machinery, automotive, or capital goods industries.Experience sourcing fabricated parts, machined components, electricals, motors, drives, automation systems, and engineering services.Strong exposure to supplier development and vendor management.Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
