Job Description
PwC's Salesforce practice is seeking a technical leader who thrives in the code. This is a hands-on role will focus on architecting solutions, writing and reviewing code, and solving complex technical challenges—while mentoring developers and shaping technical strategy for the practice. You'll lead our next-generation AI initiatives, working directly with Agentforce, Data Cloud, and the Lightning Platform to build transformative solutions for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities - Lead Salesforce transformation programs for Financial Services clients across banking, insurance, wealth management, and capital markets. - Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, helping define Salesforce strategy, roadmap, operating model, and implementation approach. - Drive end-to-end delivery of Salesforce programs, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development oversight, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. - Provide leadership across Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and related Salesforce products. - Design scalable and compliant Salesforce solutions aligned with financial services business processes such as client onboarding, KYC, relationship management, case management, servicing, advisor productivity, policyholder/member experience, and customer 360. - Bring knowledge of Canadian financial services market practices, including experience working with Canadian banks, insurers, credit unions, wealth firms, or other regulated financial institutions. - Collaborate with architecture, integration, data, security, and business teams to deliver solutions that meet enterprise standards and regulatory expectations. - Lead teams of consultants, architects, developers, business analysts, and QA resources across onshore, offshore, and distributed delivery models. - Manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, stakeholder communications, and delivery governance. - Review Salesforce releases and emerging capabilities to identify opportunities for innovation and business value for Financial Services clients. - Establish and promote Salesforce delivery standards, reusable assets, accelerators, and leading practices within the practice. - Support business development activities, including solution shaping, proposal development, effort estimation, client presentations, and sales pursuits. - Mentor and coach team members, supporting their technical, consulting, and leadership growth. - Ensure delivery excellence, quality, and client satisfaction across engagements. What You Must Have - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. - 12+ years of overall IT, consulting, or enterprise technology experience. - 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience across implementation, architecture, or consulting roles. - Experience leading large-scale Salesforce programs as a Program Lead, Solution Lead, or Salesforce Delivery Lead. - Demonstrated experience working with Financial Services clients, preferably in banking, insurance, wealth management, asset management, capital markets, or credit unions. - Prior experience working with **Canadian clients**, preferably Canadian Financial Services organizations. - Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integration patterns. - Experience managing complex Salesforce implementations across multiple environments and stakeholder groups. - Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. - Oral and written proficiency in English required. What Sets You Apart - Deep expertise in **Salesforce Financial Services Cloud**, including data model, action plans, relationship groups, householding, financial accounts, interaction summaries, life events, referrals, and client/advisor servicing processes. - Experience with Canadian regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to financial services, such as privacy, data residency, consent management, auditability, security, and regulated customer interactions. - Familiarity with Canadian financial services regulations and industry expectations, including concepts related to **PIPEDA, OSFI guidelines, FINTRAC/AML, KYC, CASL, and data protection requirements**. - Experience delivering Salesforce solutions for Canadian banks, insurers, wealth management firms, pension providers, credit unions, or fintech organizations. - Strong Salesforce architecture knowledge, including data architecture, security model, role hierarchy, sharing rules, integration architecture, API strategy, DevOps, release management, and environment strategy. - Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, OmniStudio, MuleSoft, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Tableau, or other Salesforce ecosystem technologies. - Ability to translate complex financial services business requirements into Salesforce solution designs and implementation roadmaps. - Experience with customer 360, advisor desktop, digital onboarding, lead and referral management, complaint/case management, contact center modernization, and client lifecycle management. - Experience working with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies. - Ability to lead global delivery teams and coordinate across business, technology, risk, compliance, and operations stakeholders. - Advanced Salesforce certifications such as: - Salesforce Certified Administrator - Salesforce Platform App Builder - Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant - Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant - Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional - Strong consulting mindset with experience in proposal development, solution estimation, client workshops, executive presentations, and practice development. ## Preferred Experience - Experience supporting Salesforce transformation programs for Tier 1 or Tier 2 Canadian financial institutions. - Experience integrating Salesforce with core banking, policy administration, claims, loan origination, wealth platforms, CRM, data warehouses, customer master/MDM, or digital channels. - Experience with secure data migration, data quality, data governance, and consent management in financial services environments. - Experience with contact center transformation, advisor productivity, client onboarding, customer service modernization, or digital banking/insurance journeys. - Knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, SSO, encryption, audit logging, and enterprise controls. - Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
