Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Galway office (also considered for Dublin and Portlaoise).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and contract management of projects from conceptual phase through to completion, including energy projects such as power plants, renewables, pipelines, and installations.
• Ensure statutory compliance for new developments (planning, fire certification, DAC applications, IPC license requirements).
• Maintain Building Control compliance and design in accordance with building regulations.
• Produce design requirements for energy projects (Solar, Hydro, CHP, Power Stations) and other energy infrastructure projects.
• Lead a team of engineers, managing performance and developing competency.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree (Honours or higher).
• 7+ years post‑graduate and relevant design experience; CEng beneficial but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, Irish Building Regulations, and local authority planning standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, able to work independently or collaboratively.
• Full clean driving licence and own transport required.
• Fluent written and spoken English essential.
