Senior Cloud Engineer

Job DescriptionSenior Cloud Engineer You will work across the wider technology function to design and deliver cloud-aligned solutions in line with a broader cloud strategy. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong input into architecture and product design. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions aligned to strategic roadmap Contribute to product design and architectural decision-making Build, maintain, and enhance cloud-native and legacy-integrated applications Develop infrastructure as code and automate cloud provisioning Ensure high standards across security, accessibility, performance and OOP principles Write and execute unit and integration tests Collaborate closely with engineering, QA and project teams Actively contribute to technical workshops, architecture reviews and design sessions Required Experience: 8+ years' commercial software engineering experience Minimum 3 years working within cloud environments Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform Experience building and managing public cloud environments Exposure to cloud governance frameworks Strong understanding of cloud security Deep knowledge of distributed systems, web protocols, operating systems and hypervisors Hands-on CI/CD experience Strong programming capability in Java, Python or similar Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction.
