Job Description
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot SIP signaling and RTP media flows supporting VoiceConnect's global communications platform.
- Manage carrier interconnections, SIP trunks, telecom routing, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and related voice infrastructure components.
- Analyze and optimize voice quality metrics, including MOS, latency, jitter, and packet loss to ensure superior customer experience.
- Design and support enterprise connectivity solutions including IPSec VPNs, Site-to-Site VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, private connectivity solutions, and BYOC integrations.
- Partner directly with enterprise customers during onboarding, migration, troubleshooting, and escalation scenarios.
- Conduct network readiness assessments, architecture reviews, and customer connectivity workshops.
- Design and operate highly available network architectures across AWS and Azure environments.
- Support global multi-region infrastructure, capacity planning, scalability initiatives, and expansion into new cloud regions and carrier networks.
- Design and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) networking strategies to improve platform resilience and eliminate single points of failure.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, failover testing, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, routing updates, and VPN onboarding processes using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Develop reusable automation and integrate network operations into CI/CD and platform engineering workflows.
What Makes You Qualified
- 3-5 years of experience in Cloud Networking, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or related infrastructure roles.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, Routing & Switching, network troubleshooting, and traffic engineering concepts.
- Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, VPN technologies, and enterprise connectivity solutions
- Experience working with SIP, SDP, RTP, RTCP, SIP Trunk, SBC technologies, WebRTC, VoIP troubleshooting, and carrier interconnects.
- Hands-on experience with AWS networking services such as VPC, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect, along with Azure networking services including Virtual Networks and ExpressRoute.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud networking, multi-cloud connectivity, load balancing, and traffic management.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting IPSec VPNs, firewalls, network segmentation, TLS/SRTP, and DDoS mitigation solutions.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git, and CI/CD platforms.
- Experience with CPaaS, CCaaS, UCaaS, telecom service providers, contact center technologies, or large-scale production platforms is highly desirable.
- Demonstrates strong ownership, accountability, customer focus, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, mission-critical production environments.
