Experienced Couples Therapist - Immediate Opening
Voyage Couples Therapy is seeking an experienced and highly relational Couples Therapist to join our growing team in West Toronto. This position is intended for a clinician with strong experience specifically working with couples therapy cases, and who is confident navigating relational distress, attachment injuries, communication breakdown, betrayal trauma, and emotionally heightened dynamics.
This is an immediate opening to transition into an existing referral stream and support continuity of care within the practice.

This is an in-person position requiring a commitment of at least 2 days per week at our Toronto office (High Park – Bloor St & Dundas St W).
Must Have Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counselling Psychology, or a related field. Please only apply if you have COMPLETED your master's level training. MUST BE FULLY QUALIFIED (not accepting RPQ'S, Student's or practicum placements please).
- Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) in good standing with CRPO or OCSWSSW.
- Have your own Professional Liability Insurance.
- Minimum 3 years of direct couples therapy experience.
- Formal training in at least one evidence-based relational approach such as: EFT, Gottman, PACT, RLT (couples).
- Strong clinical experience working with: high-conflict couples, Affair recovery / betrayal trauma, Emotional disconnection, Communication breakdown, Attachment injuries, Premarital and long-term relational work.
- Experience independently managing ongoing couples caseloads.
- Strong documentation and case conceptualization skills.
- Available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
- Availability for evenings and/or weekends is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide couples therapy and relational counselling to adults.
- Maintain a consistent weekly schedule and shift commitment.
- Conduct consultations and support clients through intake-to-retention process.
- Maintain timely clinical documentation and communication.
- Collaborate with admin and clinical leadership regarding client care and scheduling.
- Participate in consultation and ongoing professional development where appropriate.

$111.00-$120.00 per hour

- Maintain accurate client documentation (e.g., progress notes) in compliance with CRPO/OCSWSSW guidelines.
- Monitor your schedule, email, and team messages regularly.
- Own supervision (if needed).
- Equipped with a reliable, high-speed internet connection and the computer hardware necessary to conduct online video therapy sessions.
Flexible Schedule – Monday to Friday, with weekend availability.
