Senior DBA - Hedge Fund - £130K+

Our client is a leading investment manager and hedge fund and, in London, they’re looking for a strong Database Engineer / Administrator (DBA) with good Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation knowledge.

You’ll have the chance to work closely with software engineering, trading support and DevOps teams to design, implement and support high-performance, cutting-edge systems across the exchange.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across database upgrades, migrations and security, ongoing performance tuning and monitoring automation.

As a Senior team member, you’ll have great ownership over your work and be involved in strategic projects, driving DevOps, Cloud use and automation.

Requirements

• Proven database engineering / administration skills with PostgreSQL
• Great knowledge of database design, implementations, upgrades and migrations
• ClickHouse skills and knowledge
• Strong Cloud knowledge
• Terraform and / or Ansible skills (IaC)
• Good Python coding ability
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and DevOps best practices would be ideal
