Job DescriptionSenior Financial Accountant - Cork Location: Cork | Permanent We are recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a leading multinational organisation in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a high-performing finance team, gaining exposure to complex accounting, financial reporting, process improvement and business partnering across multiple entities. The Role You will take ownership of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities while supporting group and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities * Preparing and reviewing journals, reconciliations and financial results. * Supporting statutory and group financial reporting. * Providing financial analysis and insights to key stakeholders. * Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation and standardisation. * Providing technical accounting input on complex transactions. * Partnering with Tax, FP&A and wider business teams. * Supporting cross-functional and international projects. The Ideal Candidate * Fully qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent. * Experience in financial accounting, reporting or audit. * Strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP or local GAAP. * Experience with month-end close, financial controls and financial reporting. * Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. * Confident working independently and collaboratively within a global environment. Desirable * Multinational or shared services experience. * ERP/financial reporting systems experience. * Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query or VBA. * Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python or Tableau.
