We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to cover a 12-month Maternity Leave to join our Finance and Financial Reporting Team.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for or assist with the following duties but not be limited to:
- Assist with the quarterly financial reporting process, including (but not limited to) consolidations, lead-sheet preparation, high-level accounting entries, calculation of some of the more complex entries, for example: decommissioning liabilities, depletion, foreign exchange, stock-based compensation
- Assisting in the preparation of the quarterly financial statements and MD&A
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly account reconciliations as well as regular internal financial analysis and reporting
- Assisting with the preparation of the monthly reporting package for management, including variance analysis
- Provide accounting support to other members of the finance team, including data gathering, analysis, modeling, etc.
- Ad-hoc financial analysis
The successful candidate will be responsible for or assist with the following duties but not be limited to:

Experience Requirements
The successful candidate needs to have experience in the following areas in order to be qualified for this role:
- CPA with 3-5 years post designation experience
- Experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably E&P companies
- Experience with publicly listed Canadian companies
