About the role:The role is responsible to lead and oversee the full spectrum of HR operations within our retail business. This position will serve as a strategic and operational partner to business units, ensuring efficient, compliant, and HR processes and systems are implemented and continuously improved across the organization. Key Responsibilities:Act as the main point of contact for business leaders on HR matters, advising on people issues, workforce planning, and operational HR support.Drive the implementation of people strategies aligned with business needs, with a strong focus on retail operations and frontline staff.Support line managers on performance management, employee relations, and engagement activities.Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee life cycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, transfers, contract management, etc.)Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are up to date, well-communicated, and compliant with local labor laws and retail industry standards.Work closely with payroll and IT team to ensure seamless execution of HR operational matters.Act as the main point of contact for business leaders on HR matters, advising on people issues, workforce planning, and operational HR support.Drive the implementation of people strategies aligned with business needs, with a strong focus on retail operations and frontline staff.Support line managers on performance management, employee relations, and engagement activities.Review and improve HR processes to increase efficiency and service levels to internal stakeholders.Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and internal policies.Manage audits, government reporting, and support investigations related to employee issues when needed.Lead and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure high performance and service delivery.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are an advantage.Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a managerial or HRBP role.Proven experience in leading HR operations within a multi-location retail or consumer-facing organization.Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and payroll interface.Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-volume environment.
