The OpportunityA well-regarded, mid-sized law firm in Midtown Atlanta is adding a Senior Litigation Paralegal to its growing litigation practice group. This is a direct-hire, permanent position with the firm — not a contract role.The firm handles sophisticated civil litigation for institutional and corporate clients, with a practice focused on commercial litigation, employment litigation, and internal investigations. If you have built your career doing substantive defense-side civil litigation work at a law firm — and you want to do more of it at a firm that takes paralegal contribution seriously — this is worth a close look.The firm is hybrid: four days per week in the Midtown Atlanta office, with one day working remotely (WFH day varies week to week based on attorney scheduling needs).What You Will DoYou will function as a senior-level paralegal across the full litigation lifecycle, working directly with attorneys on active matters.
Responsibilities include:Managing discovery, including document review, production, and coordination with e-discovery vendorsDrafting and assisting with pleadings, motions, and correspondencePreparing for depositions, hearings, and trials — including exhibit preparation and witness filesCoordinating filings in state and federal court, including electronic filing (CM/ECF)Organizing and maintaining case files, deadlines, and dockets across multiple active mattersSupporting internal investigations from intake through document collection and reportingWhat We Are Looking ForRequired:5+ years of litigation paralegal experience at a law firmExperience must be in civil litigation on the defense side — specifically commercial litigation or employment litigation (defenseDemonstrated experience with state and federal court practice and procedureAbility to manage multiple matters simultaneously with strong organizational disciplineBachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificatePreferred:Experience with e-discovery platformsPrior exposure to employment defense or complex commercial mattersPlease note: Experience primarily in personal injury, criminal defense, plaintiff-side personal injury work or family law will not satisfy the requirements of this role.
