Senior Medical Social Worker

The Royal Hospital Donnybrook provides Stroke Rehabilitation, Neuro Rehabilitation, Post-Acute and General Rehabilitation services, Day Hospital, Respite and Residential Care services to adults. The Royal Hospital Donnybrook is a Section 38 hospital. Purpose of the Post: This 0.8 WTE Senior Medical Social Work post.

Person Specification / Qualifications and experience: All applicants should be Professionally Qualified Social Workers and CORU registered. A minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience. Experience of managing a complex caseload Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the competencies for this grade Experience of managing staff and/or ability to support/supervise other social workers performance in a fair & accurate manner Applicants ideally would have experience of Medical social work Rehabilitation services, particularly Neuro Rehabilitation.
