About The Role
This organisation is seeking experienced EL1–EL2 Senior Procurement & Contracting Advisors to lead complex and strategic procurement activities across a diverse portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert procurement advice, manage high-risk procurements, and deliver value-for-money outcomes while ensuring compliance with Commonwealth legislation and procurement frameworks.

Requirements
- MUST have an NV1 Security Clearance.
- Ability and willingness to undergo Police Check.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex, high-risk and strategic procurement activities.
- Develop procurement strategies and sourcing approaches.
- Provide expert procurement advice to senior stakeholders.
- Prepare complex Spending Proposals and procurement documentation.
- Lead Approach to Market activities and evaluation processes.
- Manage supplier negotiations and contract establishment.
- Ensure procurement documentation is compliant, defensible and audit-ready.
- Provide probity, governance and risk management advice.
- Mentor and support junior procurement professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement across procurement practices.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across multiple business areas.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive Commonwealth Government procurement experience.
- EL1: 4+ years managing complex procurement activities.
- EL2: Significant procurement leadership and specialist expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
- Strong understanding of the PGPA Act and procurement governance.
- Experience leading high-risk or specialised procurements.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring capability.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and report writing skills.
