Senior Product Manager

1. Lead and manage multiple engineering teams focused on building and supporting Azure-based applications
2. Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle including design, development, deployment, and support, ensuring timely and quality delivery
3. Accountable for the management of software development by managing, planning, co-ordinating and tracking all IT delivery of change requests, projects, and work streams within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
4. Manage platform governance, scalability, and performance of enterprise applications hosted on Azure
5. Collaborate with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, Infrastructure, Security, and other stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs.
6. Establish engineering excellence through coding standards, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
7. Management of software development teams (both internal and external), including line management and involvement of scrum ceremonies, to ensure quality software is delivered to time and budget.
8. Co-coordinate with project managers, business stakeholders and IT support teams to ensure operational readiness for transitioning projects to business as usual.
9. Preparation and coordination of release activities, including risk management, communications and process improvements. Note that releases and other activities will require occasional weekend working.
10. Coach, mentor, and develop engineering team leads, and individual contributors within the organization

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in managerial roles
• Proven experience managing large, distributed engineering teams and complex enterprise platforms
• Extensive understanding of software development and the SDLC.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Functions, AKS, Azure DevOps, etc
• Solid background in Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices, preferably with scrum master certification
• Experience managing development teams from both a project and a support perspective.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to build high-performing, motivated, and collaborative teams
• Experience managing external service providers
• Experience in managing globally distributed teams.
• Highly organized and a good multi-tasker
