The RoleWe're hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead complex Datatex ERP implementations for textile manufacturers across Asia-Pacific. You'll own 2-3 concurrent projects (valued at $250K-$1M+ each), manage delivery teams of 5-10+ people, and carry full P&L responsibility from kickoff through post-go-live stabilization.

These are 6-18+ month, multi-country engagements spanning 500-2,500 person-days. Your customers are mid-to-large textile manufacturers making strategic, million-dollar transformation decisions. They need a PM who protects their investment with financial discipline, transparent communication, and governance rigor, while striving for the fastest time-to-value implementation.

This is a permanent, senior-level position reporting to the Head of Professional Services.What You'll OwnFinancial Controlling - You own the project P&L. Budget planning, earned value tracking, cost variance analysis, margin protection, reforecasting, and monthly financial reporting to steering committees. You identify and price change orders, catch cost problems early, and take corrective action - you don't wait for Finance to tell you there's a variance.

Delivery & Governance - You own time to value. You design and enforce stage gates with clear entry/exit criteria across discovery, design, build, testing, cutover, and hypercare. You own and maintain living risk registers, run steering committee reviews, manage scope through formal change control, and escalate critical risks within days - not weeks.

Customer & Stakeholder Leadership - You build trust with customer IT directors, business process owners, department heads, and project sponsors. You manage expectations proactively, and deliver bad news early with context and options. You coordinate across time zones, cultures, and competing priorities in multi-country settings.

Knowledge Sharing - You share what works. As you establish financial discipline and governance rigor on your projects, you'll naturally raise the bar for how the wider team operates - with the option to grow into a PM Center of Excellence leadership role over time.What You Bring7-10 years of project management experience, with 3+ years managing ERP implementations (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Infor, or equivalent). Datatex experience is a strong advantage.Proven financial controlling skills: earned value analysis, budget tracking, variance investigation, margin protection, and reforecasting.

You speak the language of P&L with fluency.Governance credentials: PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA certification - or demonstrable equivalent through hands-on experience. You've designed stage gates, run change control processes, and led steering committees.Large-project delivery: $250K+ projects (preferably $1M+) with distributed teams and complex dependencies.Cross-functional coordination: Comfortable driving accountability across delivery teams and customer stakeholders in matrix environments - without needing direct authority.Fluent English (written and verbal).APAC-based. Ability to travel within the region.
