As Senior R&D Design Engineer, you will lead the design and development of new and existing products from concept through to production. Working closely with cross functional teams, you will drive engineering solutions that enhance performance, reliability and manufacturability.

Key responsibilities include:Leading R&D design projects from initial concept through prototyping, testing and final releaseDeveloping innovative mechanical and structural solutions using advanced 3D CADConducting detailed engineering analysis, calculations and design validationCollaborating with manufacturing, quality and service teams to ensure robust product deliveryManaging design reviews, documentation and engineering change processesSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across the product rangeProviding technical leadership and mentoring junior engineersLiaising with suppliers and customers to refine specifications and resolve technical challengesTo succeed in this role, you will bring:A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineSignificant experience in R&D, product development or heavy equipment designStrong 3D CAD capability (SolidWorks or similar)Proven ability to lead complex engineering projectsExcellent problem solving, communication and technical reporting skillsA proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for engineering excellenceWhat you'll get in ReturnCompetitive salary reflective of seniorityOpportunity to influence next generation product developmentA supportive, forward thinking engineering environmentClear progression pathways within a growing organisationLong term career stability in a thriving sectorWhat you need to do now
