Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Finance, Accounting & TaxOversee and coordinate all company finance and accounting, and tax operations across the Indonesia region, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational and Group objectives.
Lead the preparation and timely submission of monthly company’s management accounts and cash flow reports, and tax filings for TSH Indonesia entities, ensuring the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of financial data from operating centres of company, while supervising the review and approval of payments.
Ensure full compliance with Indonesian accounting and tax regulations, as well as alignment with TSH Group policies, by enforcing adherence to SOPs and maintaining strong internal controls and reliable reporting frameworks.
Oversee the timely submission of all statutory payments and regulatory filings to relevant authorities, including tax obligations.
Support and coordinate the annual budgeting process for company, ensuring alignment with Group strategic directives and financial targets.
Oversee the preparation and finalization of annual financial statements for company and coordinating the preparation of actuarial reporting, ensuring compliance with Group reporting standards and readiness for external audit.
Act as the primary liaison with external and tax auditors for the Indonesia Entities, facilitating smooth audit processes and ensuring timely resolution of audit queries and findings.
Act as the primary liaison with financial institutions to secure capital, manage liquidity and facilitate transactions.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive high performance, strengthen technical capabilities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Supporting Role
Legal, Licensing & Permits (LLP)Lead regulatory compliance across plantation operations, covering all aspects of Indonesian legal licensing and permitting, including land rights (HGU), forestry, operational permits, and import regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and Group policies.
Assist in land administration, including land status, boundaries, HGU processes, certification, documentation, and dispute monitoring, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
Ensure all licenses and permits are valid, up-to-date, properly maintained, and renewed in a timely manner, including location permits, environmental approvals, and operational licenses.
Manage regulatory reporting, audits, inspections, and verifications by authorities, ensuring timely submissions, effective coordination of responses, and closure of findings.
Oversee import licensing compliance, including monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring adherence to applicable requirements.
Establish and maintain robust permit and land databases/tracking systems to ensure data integrity, transparency, and reliable reporting across estates and subsidiaries.
Monitor regulatory developments and provide practical legal and compliance advisory to Management, highlighting risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
Act as the primary liaison with legal advisers to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities and key stakeholders at both local and national levels.
Lead and develop the LLP team to ensure consistent execution, strong governance practices, and continuous capability building across operations.
Job Requirements
ExperienceMinimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting and/or regulatory complianceAt least 5 years in a senior managerial or leadership rolePrior experience in the plantation, agribusiness, or natural resources sector strongly preferredTrack record managing dual functional responsibilities is an advantage
Technical knowledgeIn-depth knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK) and tax laws (PPh 21/23/25/29, PPN)Familiarity with Indonesian Company Law (UU PT), AMDAL, BPN regulations, and HGU licensing frameworks
