We're Hiring: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to execute structural engineering activities for offshore oil and gas projects. This role is key to maintaining technical integrity, driving a strong HSE culture, and ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.

Key ResponsibilitiesExecute all structural engineering activities while maintaining technical integrity.Deliver and support a strong HSE culture, working within budget and schedule limits.Assist other disciplines in achieving their goals and support management as required.Participate in cost and schedule estimates, and plan work in alignment with the project schedule.Monitor and report progress using the prescribed system.Drive innovative solutions to reduce cost and schedule.Supervise any third-party work carried out.Participate in relevant meetings, including HAZID, Design Reviews, Model Reviews, and PEER Reviews.Take full cognizance of Health, Safety and Environmental issues, and ensure process safety is implemented within the structural design.Liaise and interact with other disciplines to ensure overall project goals are met.Advise management of variations in a timely manner.Utilize suitable technology to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

RequiredRelevant degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering.Conversant with relevant international standards and codes of practice.10 years of experience, of which at least 7 years must be related to the offshore oil and gas industry.Minimum 2 years working in a multi-discipline team environment.Experience in using structural analysis software such as SACs.Familiar with working alongside construction engineers and lifting design.
