About The Role
We're looking for a Software Developer to design, build and test the core systems that power our business - and to bring energy, curiosity and collaboration to a growing team.
Salary
The salary for this position is $140k+ superannuation.
What you'll own
- Design, build and maintain secure, high-quality .NET code that powers our core systems.
- Champion automated testing, unit, integration and beyond, to keep releases fast and reliable.
- Get to know our software architecture inside and out, and use that knowledge to drive smart, business-aligned decisions.
- Bring energy to our Agile team, staying ahead of the curve on modern software design and development practices.
- Partner across the business, from clear documentation to hands‑on support when incidents strike, building strong relationships along the way.
What you'll bring
- A degree in Information Technology (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years building software commercially.
- Strong .NET expertise – .NET, .NET Core, C#, and hands‑on experience designing and deploying cloud‑based APIs.
- Comfort with Microsoft SQL and cloud database platforms (think AWS RDS, GCP Cloud Spanner, DynamoDB or Cloud Datastore).
- A security‑first mindset, with experience in threat modelling, penetration testing and modern web technologies, plus a knack for using AI tools like Copilot to work smarter.
- Strong communication skills, an independent streak, and a growth mindset that thrives on solving hard problems.
It's a bonus if you have
- Previous experience in Financial Services‑related industries.
- A working knowledge of PCI‑DSS requirements.
- Demonstrable experience designing, building and supporting distributed transaction processing systems, ideally in a cloud‑centric environment.
