Software Engineering Lead / Software Engineering Manager

Job DescriptionWe have an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Software Engineering Lead / Software Engineering Manager for a dynamic and rabidly growing scale up. If you are looking for a role a role that combines technical leadership, people management, and full-stack delivery in a company with big plans to disrupt an industry this could be the ideal opportunity for you. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the role involves leading a team while remaining actively involved in coding, architecture, and feature delivery.

You will partner closely with Product, Design, QA, and Platform teams to build and ship reliable software. Previous people-management experience is expected, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development. The ideal candidate has 710 years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack expertise, particularly in .NET Core for backend development and Angular for frontend applications.

A Can do! attitude is as important as the technical skills., Were looking to speak to developers with experience delivering end-to-end product features, making pragmatic architecture decisions, and maintaining high standards for quality, testing, and release readiness is essential. The role requires solid knowledge of relational databases SQL Server, PostgreSQL as well as NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, including scalable data modelling practices. Candidates should demonstrate a security-first mindset, with strong awareness of authentication, input validation, and dependency management.

Experience working in startup or scale-up environments, where ambiguity and evolving processes are common, is highly valued. Exposure to AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration with dedicated Platform or DevOps teams is important. Mobile development experience on iOS or Android is a bonus.
