Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing student needs, adapting curriculum and classroom activities, providing targeted instruction, and implementing specialized teaching strategies to support academic and social-emotional development. The role involves collaborating closely with families, counselors, and other educators, documenting progress, and participating in case reviews and planning meetings. The teacher will also contribute to creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment aligned with Cittaa’s holistic wellbeing philosophy.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.Qualifications Strong knowledge of working with learners with diverse disabilities and experience tailoring support to individual needs.Demonstrated teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment in a middle school environment.Background in Special Education, including familiarity with individualized education plans and inclusive education practices.Effective communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and for documenting student progress clearly.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field; relevant certifications in Special Education are a plus.Experience in holistic, mental health–aware, or trauma-informed educational settings is beneficial.Ability to maintain a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach while working with students from diverse backgrounds.Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and commitment to continuous professional development.
