Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE : The employee will be responsible for managing Ujjivan Small Finance Bank’s ESG agenda across its operations, business practices, and stakeholder ecosystem. The employee will liaise with all the stakeholders across the Bank for ESG performance, disclosures, and regulatory compliance. This role will be responsible for managing the Green Portfolio - effectively monitoring the fund flow, reporting to the applicable regulatory needs & ensuring that the audited mandatory reports are placed in the public domain and shared with the stakeholders. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE : Support execution of the Bank’s ESG and Sustainability strategy. Liaise with cross-functional departments for the implementation of the ESG initiatives & collection of the required data for the disclosures ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Ensure audit readiness of ESG data and documentation Track regulatory developments related to ESG and ensure alignment with applicable requirements. Maintain ESG MIS and dashboards for internal governance. Support preparation of Sustainability/ESG Reports and other regulatory disclosures. Monitor and manage the Bank’s green and sustainable finance portfolio.
Track classification, sectoral exposure, monitor Asset – Liability balance and the financial performance of green assets. Prepare periodic dashboards and analytical reports for senior management review. Educational: Graduate/ Postgraduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field Experience Required: 2-3 years of experience in any of the product verticals with exposure to ESG, Sustainability, Green financing or related business capacities
