About Our Practice
We are an airway-focused dental practice dedicated to treating oral rest posture, breathing, and swallowing dysfunctions. We believe in addressing the root causes of pediatric development issues to help kids thrive. As our practice grows, we are looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and collaborate closely in delivering life-changing myofunctional care.
The Opportunity & Training Provided
If you are fascinated by oral dynamics but haven't been formally certified in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) yet, we will bridge that gap.
You will work directly under a Myofunctional Therapist, receiving hands-on mentoring and training in specific myofunctional exercise protocols. Your primary role will be to implement and guide young patients through these customized therapy plans, ensuring they achieve optimal functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Therapy Delivery: Deliver targeted myofunctional and speech exercises to children, tracking their progress across sessions.
- Patient Engagement: Make therapy fun, engaging, and compliant for pediatric patients using creative techniques.
- Functional Assessment: Observe and document tongue mobility, range of motion, rest posture, and swallowing patterns.
- Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the lead therapist to adjust treatment plans based on the child's weekly progress.
- Parent Education: Guide parents on how to effectively manage and support home-exercise protocols.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing.
- Foundational Knowledge: A strong understanding of oral-motor mechanics, swallowing phases, and tongue functional movements (e.g., elevation, lateralization, extension).
- Pediatric Skills: A natural ability to connect with, motivate, and manage children.
- Experience: While 1–2 years of clinical experience is a plus, passionate fresh graduates (freshers) with a strong drive to learn airway health are highly encouraged to apply.
- Mindset: Open-minded, collaborative, and eager to learn an interdisciplinary approach to pediatric health.
Why Join Us?
- Specialized Mentorship: Gain unique, highly sought-after clinical skills in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMD) directly from an expert.
- Holistic Impact: See firsthand how correcting tongue posture and breathing transforms a child’s sleep, growth, and overall well-being.
- Growth Potential: Expand your scope of practice early in your career in a rapidly growing field.
