Sr. Facade BIM Modeler

Role Description The Sr. Facade BIM Modeler is a full-time remote role responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality façade BIM models and related construction documentation. Day-to-day work includes developing detailed 3D models for building envelopes, ensuring alignment with architectural and structural requirements, and integrating façade elements within overall project BIM standards.

The role involves reviewing design inputs, resolving façade-related clashes, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and project teams to maintain accurate and consistent models. The Sr. Facade BIM Modeler will also support the setup of BIM workflows for façade systems, create and manage model families/blocks, contribute to quality checks, and provide guidance to junior modelers on best practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including creation, coordination, and management of complex façade models.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Architecture and façade design principles, with experience translating design intent into detailed 3D models.
• Candidates should possess advanced Modeler skills, including 3D detailing, family/component creation, and parametric modeling for façade systems.
• Candidates should possess experience working with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination and Construction Drawings to resolve interface and clash issues at the façade.
• Proficiency in major BIM/CAD tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar) and familiarity with industry BIM standards and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret technical specifications, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams across time zones.
• Relevant technical degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; prior experience in façade BIM modeling or building envelope design is highly beneficial.
• Must have more than 4 years of experience in façade design.

Location: New Town, Kolkata (Onsite for local candidates). Candidates residing outside Kolkata may work remotely (Work from Home).
