Job Description
What Youll Do:
Job Responsibilities:
- Own, prioritize, and manage the ServiceNow HRSD product backlog to ensure alignment with HR Technology business objectives and enterprise people strategy.
- Translate HR process, compliance, and employee experience requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders, Business Analysts, HRSD Architects, and Developers to refine backlog items and ensure readiness for sprints.
- Drive delivery of enhancements and new features for HR case management, Employee Center, lifecycle events, knowledge management, and HR integrations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as the decision-maker for backlog priorities, ensuring trade-offs align with HR organizational strategy and HRSD roadmap commitments.
- Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria, HR SLA KPIs, and employee experience expectations.
- Partner with HR COE leads, HRIS teams, and integration engineers to define routing logic, ACL configurations, security visibility tiers, and Workday integration data flows.
- Support international and multi-country HR service configuration, ensuring compliance with regional data privacy and employment regulations.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance platform adoption, expand self-service capabilities, and maximize ROI from ServiceNow HRSD investments.
What Youll Bring:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Required)
- 4+ years of relevant Product Management, Product Owner, Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Architecture/Software Engineer experience in an Agile software product development environment (Required)
- 2+ years of experience delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies and commonly used backlog management tools (Required)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD, Employee Center, or related HR Service Delivery modules (Required)
- Strong requirements elicitation and proven writing skills, including the ability to write concisely and clearly for technical and non-technical audiences (Required)
- Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally (Required)
- Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO) (Preferred)
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher certification (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or HRSD-related certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist HR (CIS-HR) (Preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences including HR leadership, legal/compliance, and engineering teams (Required)
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow HRSD architecture, HR case types, knowledge base management, and Employee Center configuration (Required)
- Working knowledge of HR lifecycle events (onboarding, offboarding, leave of absence, transfers), including scoped app configuration and guided journey design (Required)
- Analytical skills to troubleshoot case routing issues, SLA compliance gaps, and employee experience metrics, and drive continuous improvement (Required)
- Technical writing and documentation experience, including the ability to produce runbooks, ACL design documents, and user-facing knowledge articles (Required)
- Understanding of HRIS fundamentals and how HRSD integrates with Workday, Active Directory, and other HR systems of record (Required)
- Familiarity with international HR compliance concepts including data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), country-specific employment law, and multi-language support requirements (Preferred)
- Experience configuring or governing HR security models including role-based access controls, data visibility tiers, and fulfiller group structures (Preferred)
- Customer-centric mindset with experience supporting HR shared services, employee self-service, and people operations teams (Required)
