Store Manager — Mortantra Mumbai (Khar) | Heritage Indian Jewellery

Mortantra is opening its Mumbai flagship at Fabindia Khar this summer, and we're looking for the person who'll run it.

We craft heritage Indian jewellery - Kundan, Quartz Polki, Meenakari, Diamante, Mishr, and Temple work on metal bases. 4,000+ designs across collections. Two stores already - Ahmedabad and Chandigarh - and a strong online presence in India and globally.

The Mumbai store is a two-floor format: ground floor walk-in, basement consultation area. The Store Manager owns it end-to-end - revenue, team, customer experience, inventory, daily operations.

You'll own:

• Monthly revenue targets and the daily rhythm that gets you there
• A team of 6 across Sales, Sales Assistants, and back-office
• Customer experience across walk-ins and bridal consultations
• Inventory accountability, daily reconciliation, inter-store transfers
• Local-authority coordination

We're looking for:

• 6–10 years in luxury or premium retail; jewellery or premium fashion preferred
• Proven leadership of a team of 6+ with monthly revenue book of ₹75L+
• Hindi + English fluent; Marathi a strong plus
• Genuine engagement with craft and technique - not just transactional selling
• Compensation: Competitive, with monthly performance variable. Open conversation based on experience.
